Strolling of the Heifers to host media panel

Will discuss Vermont media coverage as it relates to our community

BRATTLEBORO, Vt. — How well are state and local media outlets serving our community? Join the discussion at a special Brown Bag Series event from noon to 1 p.m. on Friday, November 15 at the River Garden, 157 Main Street, Brattleboro.

Strolling of the Heifers will host a Windham County Media Panel to discuss Vermont media coverage as it relates to our community. Topics will include collaboration among media groups and shifts in how our community members access local, regional and world news.

Kate O’Connor, Executive Director of the Brattleboro Area Chamber of Commerce, will moderate the panel. Representatives from Brattleboro newspapers The Reformer and The Commons; radio stations WKVT, WTSA, WVEW, The Peak, The River and Vermont Public Radio; online outlets iBrattleboro and VT Digger; and television station BCTV will contribute. The public is welcomed and encouraged to participate at this free event.

Strolling of the Heifers is a nonprofit organization dedicated to growing the food and agriculture economy by investing the communities, businesses, farmers and food producers that support it. For more information visit www.strollingoftheheifers.com
