STOWE, Vt. — The Stowe Brewers Festival is back for its fifth year with three sessions, featuring more than 50 varieties of craft beer and cider from New England and beyond, as well as live entertainment, food trucks and more. The festival also offers workshops, a wide variety of specialty food and product vendors and free parking. New for 2019, a Friday night Karaoke Kontest with a cash prizes for the top three singers.
“We always love the opportunity to introduce new releases and brewers to craft brew lovers,” said festival co-producer Jeremy Garrett. By opening the Vermont summer festival season, we’re expecting a sold-out event.”
Held at Stowe Events Field on June 28-29, the event offers three sessions:
· Friday, June 28, 5:30-9:30 p.m. featuring a Karaoke Kontest hosted by Top Hat Entertainment
· Saturday, June 29, 12-4 p.m. featuring The Village Idiots
· Saturday, June 29, 5:30-9:30 p.m. featuring River Road Blues Band
Tickets are on sale now for advance admission of $39, which includes 15 three-ounce samples and a tasting glass. Tickets will be $45 at the door, if available. Designated driver tickets are available for $20.
McKenzie Country Classics is serving as a supporting sponsor for the event and will sample its new Natural American Angus Beef Franks to raise donations on behalf of the Vermont Foodbank.

The event is committed to a light environmental footprint with recycling and composting bins, and free, fresh, filtered water provided by What’s Your Watermark. The event is age 21+ only. No children or pets. Service animals welcomed.
