CLEMSON, S.C. — All tree care workers face the danger of storm-damaged trees that must be urgently removed. A North American Training Solutions instructor will explain and demonstrate rigging, distance release techniques, and handling wood under pressure. Participants will learn how to handle leaners, snags, hangers, and other frequently encountered challenges.

Eligibility Recommendations:
Experienced chainsaw operators who are trained in basic chainsaw safety, use, and maintenance. You should have prior chainsaw training, or considerable experience before this course.
Applicable Standards:
This course meets the ANSI/ASSE Z490.1 Criteria for Accepted Practices in Safety, Health, and Environmental Training as well as OSHA 1910.266 and ANSI Z133.
Important:
Attendees must wear the following PPE: eye protection, head protection, and ear protection.
