SALEM, Ore. — The Oregon State Board of Agriculture will hold its quarterly meeting February 21-23, 2023. The meeting will be held in-person at Oregon Department of Agriculture in Salem, OR with the option to participate remotely.
The workgroup agendas and meeting agenda are available on the State Board of Agriculture webpage for your reference. Pre-meeting materials will be posted on the website as they become available.
Meeting Schedule
Tuesday, February 21
5:30 pm – 6:30 pm – Workgroup work sessions
Board member Workgroup A and Workgroup B will meet at 5:30 pm to review and discuss board resolutions currently under review. A list of resolutions under review by each workgroup is available on the workgroup agenda and available in the resolution packet. Work sessions are open to the public. Call in details are available on each agenda.

The draft meeting agenda includes budget and legislative updates from the ODA, an industry panel will provide legislative priorities and updates to the board, and the ODA Plant Protection and Conservation Programs will provide an update.
Day two agenda items include a presentation from the ODA on the introduction to the CAFO permitting process and an update from the ODA Food Safety and Animal Health Programs, and the meeting agenda will conclude with board business.
A public comment period is scheduled for each day. See the meeting agenda for full details. The final agenda is subject to change.

Verbal comments will be limited to three minutes and will be heard in the public comment period on Wednesday, February 22 or Thursday, February 23.
