SALEM, Ore. — The Oregon State Board of Agriculture will hold its quarterly meeting August 16-18, 2022. The meeting will be held in-person at the Four Rivers Cultural Center in Ontario, OR with the option to participate remotely.
The workgroup agendas and meeting agenda are available on the State Board of Agriculture webpage for your reference. Pre-meeting materials will be posted on the website as they become available.
Meeting Schedule
Tuesday, August 16
5:30 pm – 6:30 pm (MDT) – Workgroup work sessions
4:30 pm – 5:30 pm (PDT)
- Board member Workgroup A and Workgroup B will meet at 5:30 pm (MDT) to review and discuss board resolutions currently under review. A list of resolutions under review by each workgroup is available on the workgroup agenda and available in the resolution packet. Work sessions are open to the public. Call in details are available on each agenda.
Wednesday, August 17 and Thursday, August 18

- The draft meeting agenda includes budget and legislative updates from the ODA, a panel discussion on workforce availability and skills development programs, and a panel on regional economic development programs. Day two agenda items include overviews of ODA’s Shipping Point Inspection Services and ODA’s Produce Safety Program, and an update on the Grasshopper and Mormon Cricket Suppression Cost Share Program. A public comment period is scheduled for each day. The meeting agenda will conclude with board business. See the meeting agenda for full details. The final agenda is subject to change.

Verbal comments will be limited to three minutes and will be heard in the public comment period on Wednesday, August 17 or Thursday, August 18.
