FORT PIERCE, Fla. — The St. Lucie County Master Gardener annual awards recognition, held recently at the Cobra CafĂ©, Fort Pierce Central High School, welcomed the new officers for 2019.
President Pat Kraus; President-Elect Vivian Kobe; Secretary Judy Wade and Treasurer Sheila Schneider were all sworn in by St. Lucie County Commissioner Chris Dzadovsky.
This annual awards recognition not only welcomes these new officers; it is also a chance to recognize the many volunteer hours Master Gardeners contribute to St. Lucie County every year. 17,929 volunteer hours were recorded for 2018, reaching 40,824 people in the community.
