FORT PIERCE, Fla. — St. Lucie County 4-H is opening up its 4-H Farm to the public for a tour on Tuesday, Jan. 7 at 10 a.m. The 4-H Farm is used weekly to provide exciting, educational field trips for kindergarten to 3rd grade students of St. Lucie County public and private schools. This special one-day event is open to people of all ages to come experience this unique, hands-on learning program.
This guided tour will begin promptly at 10 a.m. and lasts an hour and a half. Please call 772-462-1285 or email carleybarker@ufl.edu to make a tour reservation. The cost of the event is $2 per person – cash only. Please arrive by 9:45 a.m. to pay and check in. The 4-H Farm is located at 1901 South FFA Road, Fort Pierce, Fla. 34945.
