MIDDLETOWN, N.Y. — Hemp regulations and procedures for permitting for Hemp and CBD in New York have changed in the past year and more changes are on the horizon. Catch up on what the rules are for 2021 by attending a FREE Spring update offered by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Orange County.
Maire Ullrich, CCE Orange County’s Agriculture Program Leader will lead these updates throughout three separate virtual sessions via the Zoom platform.
Program Schedule: Each of the three sessions will be from 4:30 – 5:30 P.M. EST.
- Thursday, April 15th – Growing Hemp in NY – Learn about current regulations and requirements for permitting as well as prospective changes for 2022 production. We will address hemp production for grain, fiber, and CBD.
- Thursday, April 22nd – CBD Processing in NY – We will discuss regulations and permitting process.
- Thursday, April 29th – CBD Wholesaling and Retailing – We will give guidance on the process to be a retailer or wholesaler of CBD products in NY.
