LIBERTY, Texas — Liberty, Jefferson, and Chambers County AgriLife Extension Offices would like to extend the invitation to their annual Spring Pasture & Forage Management Seminar.
This program will offer 5 CEU’s for attendees, with lunch provided fir the $40 course fee.
Topics for the program will include:
- Managing undesirable grasses within desirable grasses; Weed & Brush ID Smut Grass Control, Sweet Gum, Yaupon, & Tallow Tree Management, Dr. Barron Rector, Associate Professor and Extension Range Specialist Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service.
- Soil Management Practices: “I have a soil test, so now what do need to do and when?” Dr. Tony Provin, Professor and Soil Chemist Soil and Crop Sciences, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service.
- Management practices for improving forage quality-Vanessa Corriher-Olson, Ph.D. Associate Professor & Extension Forage Specialist Texas A&M AgriLife Research and Extension Center, Overton.
