WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Spensa Technologies Inc., a precision agriculture technology company, announces that two industry veterans have joined the company’s sales and business development team.
Dave Swain will serve as area sales director and Chad Greenlee as regional sales manager. Both will join the ag tech company to help speed innovation of its precision pest management technology and serve customers in the retail distribution and professional consultants segment.
“We are excited to welcome both of these experienced precision ag veterans to the Spensa team,” said Johnny Park, CEO of Spensa. “Both will bring industry knowledge and experience to ensure Spensa’s products are well positioned to serve the trusted adviser. They also will help us develop technologies that are meaningful in meeting the needs of retailers and consultants as they advise producers on their pest management needs.”
Swain most recently led the precision ag team at Southern States Cooperative. Before that, he spent a decade at AgCo in a number of sales and marketing roles in the technology sector of AgCo. Swain also served as SOILTEQ marketing representative for AgChem and served in location manager roles in both Terra International and Buckeye Countrymark.
“Dave brings firsthand knowledge of successful use of technology in the agribusiness sector. His skills and experience will be an asset to our team,” said Kim Nicholson, vice president of business development at Spensa.
Greenlee most recently served as sales manager, North America for SST Software. He held a number of roles in the last decade with SST, including field support manager and FarmRite sales manager. He also served in the insurance and agribusiness world before his time at SST.
“Chad knows and understands the challenges of a modern precision ag program, and we are delighted to have his experience on our team roster,” Nicholson said.
