PENNSYLVANIA FURNACE, Pa — Penn State Extension will offer a soybean production field day September 13 at the Penn State Agronomy Research Farm, 1208 West Pine Grove Road, Pennsylvania Furnace. The event will kick off with field activities at 9 a.m.
Soybean growers across the state have cooperated with Penn State Extension to host on-farm research with funding from the Pennsylvania Soybean Board. This field day will highlight the summer’s soybean research, as well as crop conditions and trends observed this growing season.
Specialists from Penn State will discuss seed treatments, inoculants, nematodes, planting populations, herbicide programs and other hot-button issues surrounding soybean production.
