ATHENS, Ga. — The value of the United States field and miscellaneous crops is estimated at $159 billion in 2020, up 21 percent from 2019. Alabama production valued at $955 million is up 9 percent from the previous year. Value of field and miscellaneous crops in Florida totals $1.13 billion, a 1 percent decrease from 2019. Georgia crop value is estimated at $2.04 billion, an increase of 8 percent from the previous year. Crop values in South Carolina total $637 million, an 11 percent increase from 2019.
