Southern Region Crop Values

Crop values in South Carolina totaled $905 million, an increase of 41 percent  from 2020

The United States value of production for field and miscellaneous crops is estimated at $201 billion in 2021, up 23 percent from 2020. Alabama value of field and miscellaneous crop production totaled $1.26 billion, up 21 percent from the previous year. At $332 million, Alabama’s leading value of production was corn for grain. The value of Florida crop production totaled $1.17 billion, down slightly from 2020. ATHENS, Ga. — The United States value of production for field and miscellaneous crops is estimated at $201 billion in 2021, up 23 percent  from 2020. Alabama value of field and miscellaneous crop production totaled $1.26 billion, up 21 percent from the previous  year. At $332 million, Alabama’s leading value of production was corn for grain. The value of Florida crop production totaled $1.17 billion, down slightly from 2020.

Peanuts represented the largest value for Florida at $130 million. The value of Georgia  crop production was estimated at $2.61 billion, an increase of 20 percent from the previous year. The leading crop production  value for Georgia was cotton at $937 million. Crop values in South Carolina totaled $905 million, an increase of 41 percent  from 2020. The value of corn for grain, at $312 million, represented the largest value for South Carolina.
