RALEIGH, N.C.–Have you heard the buzz about Soil Health? Are you considering implementing cover crops into your rotation? If so, consider joining us for some upcoming workshops!
The North Carolina Conservation Districts are hosting spring and fall Soil Health Field Days to demonstrate the importance of cover crops. All producers and technical resource people are invited to join! You will have lots of time to network with other producers and local cover crop experts as well as view a demonstration field in multi-species cover crops.
Beaufort District’s Soil Health Diverse Cover Crop Workshop will be held March 19 starting at 8:30AM at the Beaufort County Agricultural Center, 155-C Airport Road, Washington NC 27889. The Workshop Agenda includes in-depth soil health discussions, and a tour of the demonstration. No registration fee, lunch is provided, event held rain or shine.
