CURTISS. Wis. — Extension Clark County and Extension Taylor County will host series of meetings “So, you want to raise beef.” This is the SECOND of a series of four beef informational meetings. This meeting will be held on August 15, 2019, from 7:30 – 9:30 am, at the Abbyland Truck Stop located at 219 Plaza Dr, Curtiss, WI.
Each participant will be required to pay for their own meal.
The goal of these meetings is to inform farmers that may be considering raising beef. This second part in the series will focus on what beef animals could be raised on your farm and for those considering making a change from what they are currently raising.
Speakers will inform farmers on marketing beef cattle and help farmers to purchase feeder cattle. This meeting will feature speakers from different markets and will cover a wide range of topics from buying and selling feeder cattle to direct marketing of cattle and other methods to market feeder and finished cattle.
