OTISVILLE, N.Y. — Simple, Cheap and Effective Plant Propagation for Gardeners will cover propagation methods that can help gardeners multiply a wide variety of plants for little or no money and a minimal investment of time. Join us Saturday, October 9, 2021 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the Education Center & 4-H Park, 300 Finchville Turnpike, Otisville, New York 10963. The focus will be on propagating native plants that serve beneficial roles such as pollinator support, wildlife food and habitat, soil building, hyper accumulation, filtration, and carbon sequestration.
There will be a 1 hour socially-distanced lecture followed by a 45-minute hands-on activity where participants will be able to put the ideas into practice and help propagate various species of plants to vegetate a newly created rain garden. Please bring gloves and clippers.
