IOWA CITY, Iowa — With a summer of free, fresh vegetables as a door prize, the upcoming Sustainable Iowa Land Trust Spring Thaw concert signals that it’s all about farmers, farmland and food.
The March 30 concert at The Mill in Iowa City will feature folk icon Dave Moore and introduces rising stars Steve and Michaela McLain of Fairfield for a night of acoustic music. RayGun has designed special T-shirts to be launched that night as part of the celebration. Limited discounts on local kombucha and beer available and a young farmer and landowners will briefly discuss the risk local food is facing if we don’t protect more land dedicated to growing it in Iowa.
Sponsored by MidwestOne, The Mill, Little Village, Sundog Local Harvest CSA, Reunion Beer and Wild Culture Kombucha
Tickets available only at silt.org. Order early – ticket prices go up the day of the concert!
