URBANDALE, Iowa — Iowa’s newest land trust has an immediate opening for a Strategic Communications Specialist.
The ideal candidate enjoys pitching and writing news stories for niche markets, is digital savvy and can create riveting content for social networks. This person is reliable, creative and flexible. An appreciation for SILT’s mission, knowledge of targeted marketing techniques and the ability to think strategically a must. The specialist will work closely with SILT’s executive team to develop and implement strategy for coordinated communications campaigns in the last quarter of 2017 with the end goals of significantly expanding the organization’s reach and raising its visibility.
This opportunity may develop into permanent part-time employment with the Sustainable Iowa Land Trust. For this 3-month campaign, SILT is offering between $5,000 and $8,000 commensurate with experience. Applications open until position is filled.
