CENTENNIAL, Colo. — Each year, the Colorado Farm Bureau hosts Senator Cory Gardner on an agricultural tour throughout specific areas of the state. This year, the trip spanned the eastern plains from Julesburg to Springfield. Senator Gardner talked with constituents throughout the four day event and learned about the issues facing their businesses and families.
A few highlights along the way included the Rush Creek #2 Wind Farm near Limon, Livingston Ranch near Stratton, CJ Milling in Kiowa County and Mauch Farms in Prowers County and much much more. This tour wouldn’t have happened without the joint effort between CFB, Colorado Cattlemen’s Association, Colorado Wheat, Colorado Corn, and so many others. Thank you to all of those that helped make this tour possible and special thanks to Senator Gardner for his investment in rural Colorado and for listening to the agriculture industry’s concerns.
