JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — Many women in agriculture have questions about the risk their farm operations are facing and may not know where to find the answers. FCS Financial will host its annual Empowered Women, Empower Agriculture Seminar on November 7, 2022, in Excelsior Springs, Mo.
“In many cases, women are either the farm’s primary business decision maker or are actively involved in making key business decisions. Giving them a forum to network with others in similar situations allows them to share experiences and improve their operation,” said Dave Janish, FCS Financial CEO, about the Empowered Women, Empower Agriculture Seminar.
The annual Empowered Women, Empower Agriculture Seminar will be held on November 7 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Elms in Excelsior Springs, Mo.
“The neatest part about an event like this is the energy that’s in the room,” said Kate Lambert, Vice President of Marketplace Engagement. “Participants are excited to learn that there are others like them with the same questions.”
This Empowered Women, Empower Agriculture Seminar provides attendees an opportunity to ask questions about the business side of agriculture, the farm outlook for 2023 and engage in training from the Center for Food Integrity. Speakers Brook Didier Starks, Krista Swanson and Allyson Perry will engage attendees and provide tools to take back to their farm operations.
“My favorite part of this event has been networking with the ladies and sharing real-life experiences,” said Jamie Wells, 2021 attendee.
This women-focused event is offered at no cost to participants. Pre-registration is required by October 17. Reserve your seat online at www.myfcsfinancial.com or call your local FCS Financial office at 1-800-444-3276.
