BROOKINGS, S.D. — SDSU Extension will host agronomy meetings in Mitchell, January 14; Tyndall, January 16; and Burke, January 31.
All meetings will cover the following topics led by SDSU Extension staff and partners:
Climate Update: Mike Gillispie, National Weather Service
Grain Storage During Wet Years: Kenneth Hellevang, NDSU
Current Farm Economics: Jack Davis, SDSU Extension Crops Business Management Field Specialist
Dealing with Field Ruts: Anthony Bly, SDSU Extension Soils Field Specialist
Pest Related Topics will be covered during the concurrent Pesticide Applicator Training by SDSU Extension staff.

Meeting Time: Noon to 3:30

More details: Lunch is served at noon. Private applicator training will be held prior to the start of the agronomy meeting beginning at 9 a.m. and running until noon. All are welcome to come listen to pest related topics during pesticide applicator training and/or attend public Agronomy Meeting.
Tyndall Agronomy Meeting
Date: January 16, 2019
Location: Tyndall Community Center (1609 Laurel St.)
Meeting Time: 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

More details: Supper is served at 5:30pm. Private applicator training will begin following the agronomy meeting. It will run 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. All are welcome to attend public Agronomy Meeting and/or come listen to pest related topics during pesticide applicator training.
Burke Agronomy Training

Location: Burke Civic Center (Main Street)
Meeting Time: Noon to 3:30 p.m.
