RALEIGH, N.C. — Want to know more about the SDBII Farm Grants that are currently open for operational dairy farms in NC and the greater Southeast? NC State Extension will be offering a series of three Lunch & Learn workshops across the state this spring. Each location will focus on a slightly different topic that is relevant to precision technology or infrastructure improvements. All locations will have relevant information for both large and small ruminant dairy operations, as well as offer lunch for those who RSVP. (We ask that you RSVP a week in advance for each location you plan to attend so that we have ample lead time for food planning.)
Thursday, April 6 – NCDA&CS Piedmont Research Station, Salisbury, NC
Tuesday, April 25 – Chatham County Extension Center, Pittsboro, NC
Wednesday, May 3 – WNC Livestock Center, Canton, NC
Visit Southeast Dairy Business Innovation Initiatives for more information about the overall effort and the current grant cycles that are open for dairy farms.
