MORRISTOWN, Ind. — Indiana Farmers Union will be awarding scholarships to the Indiana Small Farm Conference, scheduled to take place March 5-7, 2020, at the Hendricks County Fairgrounds in Danville, Ind. Ten farmers will receive free registrations to the event through a scholarship program funded and administered by Indiana Farmers Union (www.indianafarmersunion.org).
This scholarship fund has been created to encourage attendance by produce growers who need financial assistance to attend. We are especially interested in awarding scholarships to applicants who might not otherwise be able to attend. Scholarship awards will cover a two-day registration for one person for the event, a value of $135.
To apply, please visit https://bit.ly/2TyDTUO. Scholarship applications are due no later than Jan. 31, 2020, at 12:01 a.m. Applications will be evaluated and applicants will be notified by Feb. 6, 2020, if they are chosen to receive a conference scholarship. Applicants who do not receive a scholarship also will be notified by Feb. 6, 2020. For more information about the conference, please visit https://www.purdue.edu/dffs/smallfarms.
