Schneider brings more than 27 years of seed industry leadership to the role. During his one-year term, Schneider will lead the organization through some major changes. “With the pending retirement of long-time CEO, Alan Galbreth, the Board has begun the search for his replacement.” He added, “In addition, we look to keep the organization fiscally strong while positioning us to advance our capabilities for the future with personnel, infrastructure, and the technologies necessary. We will continue to advance our goals – providing responsive, reliable and experienced support to each of our member clients.”
ICIA members represent a broad array of companies involved in many aspects of the seed business, grain companies, food and related industries. Schneider added, “It’s an amazing opportunity to witness these many entities come together to work with ICIA. The resources they provide through their many services provide the highest standards of quality, accuracy and consistency that allow all of us to do our jobs better and be more effective for our customers. ICIA has what it takes – attention to detail, knowledge, and experience required to help us help farmers feed the world.”
