TRENTON, N.J. — The Vegetable Growers Assoc. of NJ in cooperation with Rutgers NJAES Cooperative Extension and the NJ Department of Agricultural will host their annual “In Person” NJ Agricultural Convention and Trade Show at Harrah’s Resort Waterfront Conference Center in Atlantic City February 8-10, 2022.
Plans are being made to offer exceptional educational sessions on a full range of topics such as Organic Production, Soil Health, New Technologies for Ag, New Crops & Innovative Marketing Ideas, Food Safety and Mandatory FSMA Produce Safety, just to mention a few. We will also be offering a session for the Beginner Farmer. Rutgers Cooperative Extension are coordinating these sessions. Pesticide credits will be offered at some of these sessions. One of The East Coast’s largest trade show highlights vendors and representatives offering wide range of agricultural products and services will run concurrently with the educational program.
Additionally, the New Jersey Department of Agriculture will be hosting their State Agricultural Convention where representatives from over one hundred agricultural organizations meet to set policy for the coming year. A joint session will discuss the hot topic of Marketing/Policy Issues.
