ROCKINGHAM, N.C. — The Sandhills AGInnovation Center is a facility owned by Richmond County, providing marketing
assistance to produce farmers in the region. The center, funded by the county and the Golden LEAF Foundation features coolers, equipment rentals and a processing room. Commonly called a food hub, this facility has been in the planning and development phases for the past three years.
A Ribbon Cutting and Open House were held September 7, 2017 at the SAIC located at 1298 Crawford Road in Ellerbe.
