COLUMBIA, S.C.–The South Carolina State Fair’s mobile ticket booth, FRED, has cancelled planned stops Sept. 15 at the fairgrounds and Sept. 17 at Richland Library St. Andrews due to expected poor weather conditions.
The ticket booth on wheels will be at various retail locations across the Midlands through Oct. 9 and offers an additional way for the public to get discount admission and ride tickets as well as Pepsi Grandstand concert tickets for this year’s fair. For a list of FRED locations and dates, visit findfred.org.
Discount admission tickets and ride vouchers remain available online through Oct. 9 at scstatefair.org, participating Circle K stores, and the fair’s Early Bird Ticket Window at 1200 Rosewood Drive. See scstatefair.org for the Early Bird Ticket Window schedule.
Discount admission tickets are $7 ($10 during the fair), and discount ride vouchers are $25 ($30 during the fair and $35 on weekends on grounds).
Tickets for the six paid musical acts in this year’s Pepsi Grandstand concert series can be purchased at scstatefair.org and the Early Bird Ticket Window. Concert tickets range from $15 to $20 and include fair admission.
The 2018 South Carolina State Fair runs Oct. 10-21 at the fairgrounds at Rosewood Drive and George Rogers Boulevard.
