MARION and DILLON, S.C. — Clemson Cooperative Extension will host a row crop scouting workshop in two locations. Attend the workshop in Marion on August 1 at Baxley Farm Market, 2606 Hanover Rd., Marion, SC or in Dillon on August 3 at Dillon Wellness Center, 1647 Commerce Dr., Dillon, SC. Sign in is at 8 a.m for both workshop locations with workshops beginning at 8:30 a.m. and ending at noon.
Workshop will include:
- Thresholds and scouting techniques for row crops
- Cotton, Soybeans, Peanuts, and Corn
- Pest and beneficial insect identification
- Hands-on scouting in the field following classroom portion.
**There will be no charge to attend these workshops.
**3 Pesticide recertification credits will be offered.
