LINCOLN — The Nebraska Grain Sorghum Board, in keeping with the organizational mission of supporting producers, offers additional resources for returning and first-time sorghum growers in Nebraska. The information, located on the United Sorghum Checkoff (USCP) website, and developed by Dr. Brent Bean at USCP, offers valuable information for agronomists, advisors and Nebraska farmers.
“Many sorghum fields will be planted over the next couple of weeks. Sorghum seed should be in good supply in most areas, although growers may not be able to get their first choice of a few hybrids particularly in the medium-early classification,” Dr. Bean stated.
