RENSSELAER CO., N.Y. — The 4-H Snack Bar is one of the biggest fundraisers of the year for Rensselaer County 4-H. This experience is a chance for our youth to gain real-world practice working in public service, and we thank them all for donating their time to help things run smoothly. The proceeds from the Snack Bar allow Rensselaer County 4-H Teen Council to award $2,000 annually in college scholarships, help pay for fair awards, sponsor educational activities and trips as well as support leader recognition. With the generous donations of local businesses the cost of operation is much lower, making this all possible. We would like to thank the following for their generous donations: Capital City Roasters in Gloversville, Char Mar Farm in Melrose, Denison Farm in Schaghticoke, Honest Weight Co-Op in Albany, Battle Acres Sugar House in Hoosick Falls, Lansingburgh Hannaford in Troy, LaPosta Brother’s Market in Speigletown, Quality Retail Systems in Schaghticoke, Stannard’s Farm in Cambridge, Thomas’ Poultry Farm in Schuylerville, Tremont Lumber in Averill Park, and Wertman’s Greenhouse in Schaghticoke. Your generosity is greatly appreciated, we can’t thank you enough!!
We hope that you enjoyed your food and you will stop by again next year!
