MORRISVILLE, N.Y. — AQHA professional horseman Jonathan Meilleur will hold a clinic on Saturday, Oct. 5, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., at the SUNY Morrisville Western Barn on Swamp Road.
The clinic, which is open to all riders, breeds and disciplines, features trail, horsemanship or Western pleasure.
Meilleur, a renowned trainer and judge, has trained and shown several Congress and World Champions, as well as many Congress top 10 placers in multiple events.
He has served as a judge at numerous feature horse shows throughout the country, including the All- American Quarter Horse Congress, AQHA World Show, AQHYA World Show, Redbud Circuit, Big A Circuit, Prairie Classic and the Arizona Sun Circuit. He also is an esteemed member of AQHA’s Team Wrangler, a group of professional horsemen who promote educational outreach for the horse industry.
The cost of the clinic is $100 per rider, per session. The auditing fee is $20.

About Jonathan Meilleur
Meilleur moved to the United States from his hometown of Montreal, Canada, when he was 18 to begin his career with Gretchen Mathes at Powder Brook Farm (PBF) in Harwinton, Connecticut.
After working at PBF for eight years, Meilleur moved to Pennsylvania to hone his skills in the Western pleasure field and worked with Jeff Long for two years. Following this decade of mentorship, Meilleur started his own business in 2007 in Hamburg, Pennsylvania, where he continues to train and show today.
