SIOUX CENTER, Iowa — Beef producers and allied industry professionals are reminded to sign up for Feedlot Forum 2017. This year’s Forum is Jan. 17, beginning at 8:30 a.m., at the Terrace View Event Center in Sioux Center. Pre-registrations are encouraged by Jan. 12 in order to plan for the steak dinner, beef certificates and proceedings for attendees.
Feedlot Forum 2017 features “who’s who” in the cattle industry and includes issues of importance to producers. Topics for this year’s program include the Veterinary Feed Directive, Iowa Beef Checkoff, packer concerns, market volatility, delivery points, and how to take control of your cattle price. In addition, the trade show will feature a record 26 sponsors displaying the newest technology in beef facilities, cattle equipment, animal health, beef nutrition, manure management and agricultural finance.
