GREENFIELD, Mo. — Regional Grazing Schools enable producers to efficiently graze pastures by providing knowledge on plant and soil fertility, matching forages to livestock, livestock nutrition, fencing and watering systems and their layout, economics of grazing management, farm tours and hands on paddock allocation exercises. Dade County University of Missouri Extension will host a Regional Grazing School September 1-3 from 9am-4pm at Main Street Baptist Church in Greenfield MO. Attendance of all 3 days qualifies participants for grazing system state cost share. Registration is $150/person and $90 for additional persons sharing materials.
