GREENWICH, N.Y. — Imagine cruising around the back country, or heading out to hunt and fish in a brand new John Deere Gator. For only $10, that could be you!

For the fourth year in a row, the Agricultural Stewardship Association (ASA) is hosting a raffle to benefit their local farmland protection efforts in Washington and Rensselaer counties. Raffle tickets are $10 each and this year’s prize is a John Deere Gator TS 4 X 2, with a 500 lb cargo capacity and 900 lb towing capacity!

To keep odds favorable, only a limited number of tickets are being sold for this very special raffle. The approximate value of the prize is $7,000 with sincere thanks to Hudson River Tractor Co. for helping underwrite and make this raffle possible.

Tickets may be purchased in-person or by mail at ASA’s office located at 2531 State Route 40, Greenwich, NY 12834. The lucky winner will be drawn on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 12:30 pm at the Agricultural Stewardship Association office. Ticket holder need not be present to win. Call 518-692-7285 for additional information.

The Agricultural Stewardship Association was founded in 1990 by farmers to protect agricultural land and ensure a future for farming in our region. To date, ASA has helped protect 17,485 acres on 112 properties in Washington and Rensselaer counties. For more information about ASA’s work, visit www.agstewardship.org.
