FRANKFORT, Ky. — Agriculture Commissioner Ryan Quarles issued the following statement Friday:
“I applaud the decision by the United States Department of Agriculture and Secretary Sonny Perdue to extend the Kentucky Green River Conservation Reserve Enhancement Program (CREP) for another year while Kentucky and the federal government continue to work toward a more permanent solution.
“I’d like to thank Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell for working with Secretary Perdue and the Trump Administration to secure this extension for Kentucky.”
