WEST CHESTER, Pa. — Penn State Extension of Chester County announced that Logan Hall has been selected as an Extension Educator to join its 4-H Youth Development Program.
Hall joins Toni Stuetz, Extension Educator for 4-H Youth Development, to provide informal STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) based educational experiences and activities for youth throughout Chester County.
“I am looking forward to working with the entire Chester County team and its 4-H program to best serve the youth development and outreach efforts of Penn State Extension,” said Hall. “As a 4-H alumnus — who completed animal science and leadership projects — I know firsthand the positive impact this organization has on the future of our youth as well as the food and agriculture industry.”
For nearly two years before joining the Chester County team, Hall was the 4-H Youth Development Educator in the Penn State Extension of Cumberland County office. Prior to joining the Penn State Extension Team, Logan served as the Deputy Communications Director, as well as Acting Communications Director during his tenure, at the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture.
“We are very excited to welcome Logan Hall to our Chester County team. His expertise, insights and vibrant energy will be of great value to our 4-H programs,” said Stephanie Shirk, Penn State Extension Client Relationship Manager. “Logan’s animal science experience will also be beneficial to the strong 4-H livestock programs in Chester County and will complement efforts to grow local STEM activities with the Pennsylvania 4-H Science of Agriculture Challenge where he serves on the state task force.”
