UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Natural resource and environmental professionals will learn how to build a culture of trust and use program evaluation tools to understand the impact of their outreach program at the Professional Development in Environmental Outreach workshop starting Friday.
This half-day workshop will take place from 8 a.m. to noon at the Penn State Visitor Center, located at 800 E. Park Ave., State College. Additional workshops also will be held Aug. 16 and Aug. 30.
Participants will learn best practices for implementing trust to help foster a successful work environment in the first module. In the second module, participants will be introduced to program evaluation concepts for measuring the impact of environmental outreach programs and how to design survey questions.
