OTTAWA, Ill. — University of Illinois Extension – Bureau, LaSalle, Marshall, Putnam Unit is offering the following Testing-Only session and certification program for private pesticide applicators. Pre-registration is required. Certification is required to apply restricted use pesticides. The session is in cooperation with the Illinois Department of Agriculture:
Testing Only – Wednesday, February 13, 2019, 10:00 a.m. – Noon, to be held at the University of Illinois Extension – LaSalle County Office, 1689 North 31st Road, Suite 2, Ottawa. To register please call the University of Illinois Extension – LaSalle County Office by February 12th at 815-433-0707. There is no charge for this program. If you need a reasonable accommodation, please indicate when registering.
Private Applicator Manuals and workbooks can be purchased online or at local Extension offices. Extension offices are located in Princeton, Ottawa, Henry and in Oglesby on the IVCC campus. Questions may be directed to Daryle Wragge, Ag Program Coordinator, 309-364-2356.
