OKLAHOMA CITY — Progressive Ag Cooperative, headquartered in Wellington, KS, has named Rusty Morehead as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer.
Within his new position, Morehead will direct and coordinate activities of the organization to obtain optimum efficiency and economy of operations and maximize profits. Additionally, he will be responsible for overseeing all 14 locations of the company while managing personnel and training as well as maintaining company policies and procedures.
Morehead is thrilled to begin his new endeavor with Progressive Ag Cooperative. “I am excited to begin this new chapter in my life with my family,” said Morehead. “I look forward to beginning work with Progressive Ag Cooperative to help patrons from around the area.”
With a degree in Animal Science from Kansas State University, Morehead has spent his career in the cooperative industry in various positions. Since 2014, he has served as the Regional Operations Manager for Central Valley Ag out of York, NE.
Morehead will be joined in this transition by his wife, Kara, and three children, Gus, Clancy and Lilibeth. The family looks forward to moving near Progressive Ag Cooperative and taking on this new journey together.
