IOWA FALLS, Iowa — A Last Chance Private Pesticide Applicator Re-certification Training will be held Friday, April 13, from 9:30 a.m. to Noon, at the Hardin County Extension Office at 524 Lawler Street in Iowa Falls. Registration will begin at 9:00 a.m. and participants must be registered prior to 9:30 a.m.
Annual training is required for private pesticide applicators wanting to re-certify to apply restricted use pesticides. April 15 is the deadline for annual training. Certified applicators who do not attend an annual training will have to take an exam to re-certify at the end of their three year certification period. There is a $20 state-wide training fee for attending Private Pesticide Applicator Re-certification Training payable to Hardin County ISU Extension at the time of registration.
