ELDORA, Iowa — Private Pesticide Applicator Re-certification Training will be held Tuesday, December 10, from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., in the fellowship hall at St. Paul Lutheran Church at 1105 Washington Street in Eldora. Registration will begin at 1:00 p.m. and participants must be registered prior to 1:30 p.m. Annual training is required for private pesticide applicators wanting to re-certify to apply restricted use pesticides. Certified applicators who do not attend annual training will have to take an exam to re-certify at the end of their three-year certification term. There is a $20 state-wide training fee for attending Private Pesticide Applicator Re-certification Training payable to Hardin County ISU Extension at the time of registration.
