ALACHUA CO., Fla. — This workshop is designed to provide training for the private applicator agricultural pest control license. The private applicator license is required for anyone that applies restricted use pesticides to their own farm, greenhouse or nursery. There will be no exams offered the day of the class. You can schedule your exam by calling 352-955-2402. This class will be held at the Freedom Community Center at Veterans Park, 7340 SW 41 Place, Gainesville, FL 32608.
Up to 4 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) will be offered for applicators that already have their licenses. CEUs include: General Standard Core, Ag Row Crop, and Private Applicator.
The class will be from 8:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. The registration fee is $25.00 and is available through Eventbrite. A $10.00 late fee will be applied for registration after January 31st or if paying at the door. Limited to 20 participants. There will be no refunds for the registration fee.
