SOUTH PARIS, Maine – University of Maine Cooperative Extension Oxford County will host a workshop on beef cattle nutrition Dec. 8, from 4–6 p.m., at 9 Olson Road, South Paris.
Designed for producers, the workshop will focus on maximizing production while minimizing feed costs. UMaine Extension assistant professor and livestock specialist Colt Knight will discuss the basic principles of beef cattle nutrition including digestive anatomy, rumen development, and body condition scoring.
