WATERLOO, N.Y. — Have trees and shrubs that need pruning but not sure how to do that? Do you prune in winter? Spring? Summer? How much do you prune? Get those questions answwered and watch hands on demonstrations of pruning at the Practical Pruning workshop on Saturday, April 13th from 10AM-11:30AM.
The workshop will be held at the home of two of Seneca County Cornell Cooperative Extension’s Master Gardener volunteers, Don & Ann Cobb. The program will be presented by their daughter, Pat, a Master Gardener Volunteer in Wayne County. Pat shares her interests and abilities in landscape gardening and maintenance with relatives, friends and neighbors. Her passion is in purning and she will share her knowledge with workshop attendees, including maintenance and rescue pruning of ornamental shrubs. She will share a pruning brochure she developed and show many tips and tricks for pruning in a hands on demonstration around the Cobb landscape.
Don and Ann will also give a tour of their unheated winter high tunnel as an added bonus.
