CAMDEN, S.C. — The Livestock and Forages Team with Clemson University Cooperative Extension Service will offer a one-day workshop for backyard poultry owners on Friday, March 29, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Kershaw County Extension Office, 632 West Dekalb Street in Camden. The cost is $40.00 which includes lunch and class materials.
Don’t miss this great opportunity to learn more on incubating poultry eggs for greater success from Dr. Mickey Hall. Participants will also learn the basics of egg handling including guidelines for selling eggs.
The Egg Incubation and Egg Handling Class will cover the basics of setting up an incubator, the incubation process, brooder set up and management, egg handling, egg safety, and egg sales. Agents will also demonstrate how to set up an incubator.
