WALPOLE, N.H. — Beautiful Stonewall Farm, 242 Chesterfield Rd. Keene, NH, will host the 4th Annual Conservation Commission Potluck celebration on October 2nd from 5:00-7:30pm.
A potluck dinner for attendees will celebrate the region’s late summer harvest and showcase this unique collaboration of partners. The event is an opportunity for those who serve on their town’s conservation commissions to meet and learn more about each other’s work. This is a great opportunity for networking with other towns and meeting members of your local commission. If you do not serve on a commission, but you are interested in learning more about conservation – or if you just like photos of animals in action! – feel free to attend this fun and informative program.
Eric Aldrich of the Nature Conservancy will be joining this evening to discuss his experiences tracking local wildlife. Using trail cameras and tracking, Eric has spent the last few years following in the footsteps of local bobcats, bears, and other wildlife. His in-depth observations have given him rare insight into the lives of these elusive creatures. In this enlightening talk, Eric will share some photos, videos, and stories from his adventures in camera-trapping. You won’t want to miss this!
RSVP is required for this event. To register please contact Amanda Littleton at 603-756-2988 x116 or email: amanda@cheshireconservation.
