LE MARS, Iowa — Plymouth County 4-H has been selected as a beneficiary for the month of August 2021 in the Hy-Vee Reusable Bag Program that supports local non-profits.
The Hy-Vee Reusable Bag Program, which launched in November 2019, is a reusable bag program that facilitates community support with the goal to make a difference in the communities customers live and work.
Plymouth County 4-H was selected as the August 2021 beneficiary of the program by store leadership at the Hy-Vee located at Hy-Vee 1201 12th Avenue SW, LeMars IA. Plymouth County 4-H will receive a $1 donation every time a $2.50 red “My Heart” Reusable Bag is purchased at this location during the month of August 2021, unless otherwise directed by the customer through the Giving Tag attached to the bag.
Plymouth County 4-H is humbled to be selected as the recipient of the Bag program!” said Ann Schoenrock, Program and Youth Coordinator, Plymouth county Extension and Outreach. “4-H was founded on the belief that when kids are empowered to pursue their passions and chart their own course, their unique skills grow and take shape, helping them to become true leaders in their lives, careers and communities. This donation will continue to help us provide these educational opportunities for 4-H’ers at an affordable cost and will also help cover the state membership fee for each enrolled member. We are so fortunate to have such great community supporters and partners.”
