PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. — From honey to fresh baked breads and everything in between, the Plattsburgh Farmers and Crafters Market has been offering quality local products and hand crafted goods for over 10 years. This year, the market has undergone some exciting changes with more vendors, more live music, weekly local business sponsors and more fun, family friendly events! 2018 Farmers Market Events
June 30 – Educational Day: With animals from the Adirondack Wildlife Refuge, a science behind the magic show and representation from local educational facilities, such as the UVM Sea Grant and Miners Institute – you are sure to walk away with at least one fun new fact!
August 4 – Homestead Day: Learn about life on the farm with the Clinton County Farm Bureau and Country Dreams Farm! Therapy donkeys will also be present for the kids (and adults) to interact with.
August 18 – Safety Day: Bike helmets, forest rangers, city police, the fire department, department of environmental conservation – anything and everything safety, you will find at this Farmers Market event. So come say thanks to those that help keep our area safe!
September 15 – Therapy Donkeys: Discover the world of donkey-assisted therapy and how it benefits both donkeys and humans when Thera-Pets brings their therapy donkeys to the Farmers Market!
September 29 – Fall Harvest: Celebrate the fall season with fresh products, a petting zoo by Country Dreams Farm, face painting, games, food from The Dogfather and so much more!
