FORT WORTH, Texas — With the onset of spring, many Fort Worth gardeners are anxious to get their beds and borders outfitted with blooming plants. Select from a wide assortment at the Spring Plant Sale at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden, March 29-30.
Choose from trees, shrubs, grasses, ground covers, perennials, vines and spring-flowering bulbs. Plant societies will be selling African violets, begonias, iris, daylilies, cacti and succulents.
The sale will be open 2-6 p.m. March 29 and 9 a.m.-2 p.m. March 30. The sale is in the Grove, the wooded area west of the Trial Garden and the Japanese Garden parking lot.
Shop early for best selections. Bring your own wagon or borrow one to transport your new plants to your vehicle.
