RALEIGH, N.C. — North Carolina State University, including the Plant Disease and Insect Clinic, will be closed the week of December 23–27, 2019. Please do not send samples that might arrive during this time period. We will close at 3 p.m. on Friday, December 20, and reopen on Monday, December 30. We are unsure of the status of our university mail service (including USPS shipments) on December 30 and 31. We will again be closed on New Year’s Day (Wednesday, January 1, 2020).
Samples arriving late during the week of December 16 may have to be held over until after the break. The date that samples can be received and still be analyzed and reported before the holiday depends on the nature of the problem and the assigned diagnostician. For more information, feel free to call us at 919-515-3619 (disease line), 919-515-9530 (insect line) or 919-513-3878 (turf diagnostics).
All the best to you and yours this holiday season from the PDIC!
